The Atlantic Brewery is a specialist organic micro-brewery based in an 18th century farmhouse on the outskirts of Newquay, on the North Cornish coast. Its owner and head brewer, Stuart Thomson, established the brewery in 2005 with the clear vision of producing the purest quality ales without compromise. Our beers are all hand crafted from the finest ingredients and are produced entirely on site. Each brew starts with the beautifully sweet water drawn from our spring, the natural purity of which can be tasted in the finished beer. We use organic malt from Warminster Maltings in Wiltshire, and solely English hops. Since 2007 we have been able to include our own organic Fuggles and First Gold hops, grown at the brewery and thriving on the composted malt. All our ales are bottle conditioned, a process long considered the best way to present beer in a bottle. We do not use isinglass finings and do not filter, pasteurise or mechanically carbonate our beers They are matured on site for up to 3 months to fully blend their flavours and develop their distinctive character.
