Roughtor was our second beer, a follow up to St Nonna's. This is a well hopped amber ale, lovely flavour along with a medium bitterness.
Roughtor (pronounced Row-tor) is the second tallest hill in Cornwall, situated on Bodmin Moor, near Brown Willy.

Product Description

Penpont Brewery was established in autumn 2008. Situated in a converted milking parlour on the northern edge of Bodmin Moor the brewery brews traditional real ale, using only floor malted barley, hops, water and yeast. The brewery uses natural Cornish spring water supplied from a local borehole and in future intends to produce their own barley and hops.
