Tasting Notes:

Light golden copper coloured ale brewed with Maris Otter barley, roasted Crystal malts and Torrefied wheat. Sovereign and Boadicea hops combine to produce smooth toffee and malt flavours with a hint of orangey spice.

Product Description

Based on a farm in the picture postcard village of Henham on the Hertfordshire-Essex border, Saffron Brewery has produced award-winning real ales since 2006.
Using an ingeniously improvised assortment of plant and a lively imagination a range of heritage ales with a contemporary twist has been created.
Run as a one man craft brewery by Dave Hill only the finest natural ingredients including floor malted barley and English hops go into the ales which are brewed in the traditional style to maximise flavour and taste.
