Tasting Notes:

A speciality stout that is a wonderful mix of chocolate malt and three other secret chocolate ingredients! There is chocolate on the nose, on the palate and in the finish! The judicious use of Fuggles hops balances any excess sweetness, making for a creamy, smooth, satisfying beer with an intense chocolate flavour.

Product Description

Saltaire Brewery was established in 2005 and produces 14,000 casks of beer a year. Saltaire has won a hat full of awards at CAMRA festivals, but in 2010 a panel of brewers, beer journalists and industry experts tasted 1,400 beers and voted our Saltaire’s speciality beer, Triple Chocoholic, Supreme National Champion! In the same competition their Cascade Pale Ale was voted Champion Premium Bitter.

Saltaire has a reputation for innovative speciality beers but their best selling beer is Saltaire Blonde, which counts for half of the brewery’s production. This ale is a permanent fixture in many pubs in their local area.
